Does Global Auto Exports import as well as export vehicles?
Yes, although our primary business is derived from export requests, we are happy to work with clients within the USA who wish to import a vehicle into the country.
How does the whole purchase and shipping process work?
Please refer to our detailed section on "What to Expect" when you work with Global.
How long does the entire purchase & export process take?
It typically takes anywhere from 5-10 business days for the purchase transaction to complete.  The amount of time necessary for export/shipment of the vehicle varies based on the country of destination; sea and/or land transportation could take from two to eight weeks.  If expedited service is required, we can handle these requests as well (for an additional fee); most vehicles can even be shipped by air.
How does Global Auto locate the vehicle I need?
We work with a diverse, yet select group of dealers and brokers in the USA.  Through these reliable and trusted partners, we are able to procure virtually any vehicle you desire - cars, light and heavy duty trucks, vans, SUV's, and motorcycles - at an extremely competitive price (in most cases, well below MSRP).  If you have the need for any other type of vehicle or equipment not listed here, feel free to contact us; chances are we can get it for you.
Does Global Auto Exports locate and ship parts too?
Yes we do!  Just contact us with the details and we will work with you to get whatever it is you need.  We have a number of parts suppliers with which we can do business.
Will you place a factory order for the exact vehicle I want?
Of course.  We work with all our clients to get them exactly what they need.

Who will choose the carrier?

Our clients always have the option of choosing their own carrier, however most prefer to have Global Auto make all the arrangements - including choosing a carrier.
How is the vehicle shipped?
On overseas shipments, the standard method is by roll-on/roll-off (meaning vehicle is driven onto ship and is not placed in a container).  Container shipment is also available should a client request this service.
What happens if the vehicle is damaged during transport?
All vehicles we ship are insured against damage caused by the carrier during transit.  This is included in the price of our service. Note however, that most insurance policies will not cover an "act of God" or damage caused by outside elements beyond the shipper's control.
Is there any fee or obligation associated with requesting a quote?
No. There are no fees or obligations to do business with us to receive a quote.  If we can't find the vehicle you want at the price you want, you can walk away at any time, no questions asked.
How much do you charge for your services?
Our fees vary depending upon many factors.  Some factors that may affect our fees include:
  • Availability of vehicle requested
  • Client's country of residence
  • Range of services requested by client
  • Special services/handling requirements
  • Number of vehicles requested
  • Cost of vehicle requested
That being said, fees typically range anywhere from $300 to $1000 USD per vehicle.  Given what we can save you if you were to purchase the vehicle at MSRP (or worse, dealer "sticker price"),  you will still most likely save money on the entire purchase transaction.

You will not be charged any fees until you sign a purchase agreement.
How do I pay for my vehicle?
After we accept your signed purchase agreement, a 10% deposit is required to initiate the purchase and then the remaining balance of all fees is due when the vehicle is ready for delivery.   All payments are to be made by wire transfer.  In very rare circumstances, arrangements may be made to make payment by cashiers check or international money order.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, the deposit is refundable (less a 5-10% holdback for time and expenses incurred up to the point the order was cancelled).
